Collection: Breastplates & Martingales

Breastplates and Martingales are essential riding gear and training aids for equestrians. The breastplate keeps the saddle in place and the martingale helps keep the horse on the bit and the neck supple.

Breastplates are attached either on the girth under the saddle, or on the D rings on top of the saddle. Some breastplates also have a bridge that go over the horses neck.

There are many different kinds of martingale attachments. They are attached to the front of the breastplate either with a buckle or with a snap hook. The classic and easy Martingale attachment is the running Martingale. Then there are also elastic ones and closed fork.
